Welcome to my artistic universe where the poetry of ink meets the richness of cultural diversity!

I am Laurianne, an illustrator artist born from a vibrant mix and a story woven between two worlds. My father, from Guadeloupe, descended from slaves who came from West Africa to Amerindian lands, and my mother, from Brittany, from a region proud of its roots and traditions. It is in Brittany, in the heart of this land of legends and sea spray, that I grew up, with caramel skin and a traveling soul.

Today, I live in Greece, a country where we walk daily in the footsteps of ancient civilizations. I share my life with my Greek lover and, together, we explore a world where cultures and stories intersect and respond to each other. This plurality, I embrace it, I celebrate it, and it guides my pen, my brush and my heart.

My journey, marked by travels and encounters, has taught me that each culture is a wealth, a treasure to be discovered, and that beyond our differences, there is a universal beauty that connects us. As a child, I felt the difference on my skin, I suffered looks and words heavy with prejudice, but it forged me, gave me an unwavering determination: that of celebrating diversity and opening minds through art.

Speaking four languages and loving to travel are for me keys to understanding the world and myself. Whether savoring a steaming Vietnamese pho, a spicy Indian curry, or tasting a fragrant Lebanese mezze, I discover with each bite a new story, a new way of seeing the world. My illustrations are inspired by this insatiable curiosity, this thirst to meet others.

Through my works, both powerful and poetic, I want to celebrate the beauty and strength of the world's cultures. I invite everyone to slow down, contemplate and open up to the multiple facets of our humanity. Because deep down, diversity is our greatest wealth, it is what unites us and makes us stronger.
